I have a deep passion for children’s illustration. After becoming a mum in 2017, I suddenly became surrounded by children’s illustration in a new way, and it became very clear to me, just how important children’s illustration is. By bringing stories to life, inspiring imaginations and teaching through artwork, children’s illustration forms such a foundational introduction to both art, and to the world itself. As a parent, I am so thankful to all the amazing artists who are already sharing their art in kid lit. Reading all of these children’s books and seeing all of the wonderful artwork that fill the pages, I realised that my artwork style was “childish”, as I’d always felt, but that this wasn’t the negative I’d always feared, instead, my style had a place after all.

My art could find a home in children’s illustration.

I am currently breathing life into several stories behind the scenes, and I hope to bring these to publishers soon.
